EUROSUD focuses on a region with a distinct identity and a pivotal role in addressing European and global affairs.

The region has witnessed significant global challenges, including the growth of populist and anti-establishment movements, and the economic and social dynamics of regional integration.

Other critical issues include post-colonial ties, heavy migration flows, climate change, socio-demographic shifts, corruption, governance quality, and the evolving security landscape in the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea.

By following EUROSUD, students will:

  • explore these developments through diverse theoretical and methodological approaches from across the humanities and social sciences;
  • gain unparalleled regional expertise, a solid foundation in international affairs, and advanced research and professional skills;
  • be prepared for international careers.
